For all I know, the problem with the Roku Media Player getting stuck at "retrieving." on videos from UMS may even be a minor problem in the interface between UMS and the Roku Media Player, one that UMS could circumvent with a small amount of code once it is identified.
I.e., I have seen no indication from UMS developers or any UMS users that anything has changed.
